I removed the plastic cover over my steering column, and after I reinstalled it, the little screw on the right side isnt tightening down, causing the plastic to rattle. Looking at a new DMC part ($170? ouch....) I dont see this weird little screw that came out of mine. It looks like this funky part was replaced with something more normal. Is there a receiving part on the older car that may have fallen out, or could it be that it was stripped out and needs to be replaced?
