Chris Williams and the guys at DOC in the UK have created a cutaway drawing of the car in partnership with Haynes (of the famous manuals)

As the shipping of these is about as much as the prints themselves, I thought I’d explore whether there is any interest in a group buy from the SEDOC area. I would have them shipped to me and then distributed at a tech session.

Sizes available:
A3, Approx size: 297mm x 420mm - 11.7 x 16.5 inches (about 11 x 17)
A2, Approx size: 420mm x 594mm - 16.5 x 23
A1, Approx size: 594mm x 841mm - 23 x 33
A0, Approx size: 841mm x 1189mm - 33 x 46.8

Poster Prices:
On Plain 160gsm Paper
A3, $ 9.25
A2, $12.50
A1, $16.75
A0, $23.50

On Coated 170/200 gsm Paper
A3, $23.50
A2, $30.00
A1, $41.50
A0, $59.00

Prices exclusive of shipping. Chris reckons on about $18.50 for a shipping tube that fits the two smaller sizes (A2 and/or A3)> the other two would need a larger tube. As most of the weight is in the tube, I would expect multiple sheets to be able to be shipped in the same tube.

So, for example, one A2 plain paper would be $31 but 5 would be $16.20 each

I am just investigating whether there is any local interest, so I get together a SEDOC shopping list and then I will get a price from Chris on shipping them across.

Post on here if you are interested, by, say Friday 12th and we'll take it from there.

Unfortunately I'm in Australia, but love to have one.

Did see it featured on "The Love Of Cars".

These are fantastic posters and well worth the $$$. I need to get mine framed some of these days.

Perhaps it was buried in the first post but I was originally trying to organize this for local SEDOC owners, the plan being to ship them here to Atlanta and distribute at a tech session or something.

I can certainly add other members, but note that there will be another shipping charge from ATL (zip 30092) to wherever you are. You can work that out on the USPS site. (for example, a quick estimate for a 36" tube to Mark in WI would be an extra $7-8, plus the cost of the tube if I can't find one round the office. They have a Flat rate triangular mailing tube that may qualify for the "Medium Box" shipping price, but the website isn't clear on that point. If so the shipping would be about $12 all in)

btw you can get them directly from DOC at

Can you be more specific on the size (A0-A3)? Technically they are all posters :)

I have always been fascinated by these drawings. Nowadays I imagine they are done in a program like illustrator, but how difficult was it to draw them back in the day?
