Key turned twice to get cold start valve to turn on.

Hi just replaced thermo time switch must turn ignition key twice on off and on again to hear the cold start valve kick in
To work hmmm any ideas.. Had also had the same problem before replacing switch.

You won't hear the cold start valve kick in. What you hear is the fuel pump prime (also the FV buzz with an OEM RPM relay).
