Just for clarification, I am much more a Blackadder fan than a Mr Bean fan

That pic is from his previous crash in 1999.

This crash:

Hopefully McLaren can do something with it...

Mr. Bean should try out for Jackass, get his extreme fix there.

Or is that the same one fixed from the first time?

His neighbor telling everyone he's a hoon doesn't surprise me. He might very well be, but what is more likely is a serious case of envy towards Mister Atkinson's wealth.

Driving a measly 300hp mustang in the rain / wet can be disastrous if giving it a little gas at the wrong spot. I think the threshold on the F1 is a little lower than that. And being a mid engined car it stays neutral, but when it goes south, it tends to do so in a hurry. And if there is no room to correct it's checkbook time.

But I do commend "mr Bean". His cars are no garage queens!

$1.4M repair bill, that will bump his premium up 50% to about $90,000 per year.

Apparently it costs at least $25k to keep an F1 in the garage and never drive it.

Think he's with Hagarty?

I think I read somewhere the insurer was Adrian Flux. 90k a year, wow!!

Now for sale.

A 500k gbp purchase price in 1997 has ballooned to 8 million, even with two accidents on the Carfax

The guy should stick to driving the mini!

And yes. Blackadder is way better... For grown ups anyway. Mr. Bean is more of a children's or non English speaking audiences.

Agreed... We recently introduced my 7-year-old son to Bean and he loves it. That being said I find it very funny too so that tells you a little bit about how grown up I am.

Cheers
Steven

If you can find it, Not The Nine O Clock News is some quality Atkinson too.

Less said about Johnny English the better...

Back on topic....

There was an article in the Telegraph motoring section (UK) just this week saying that he was selling it and mentioned that it had recently been repaired by McLaren following an accident.

He's put quite a few miles on it, 41000 which is pretty high for a 'super car' nice to see it has been used.
