Fire damaged car in Toronto

I wonder if the fire was external, ie the engine or any part of the car was not on fire. I say this cause the pontoons look fine, and if there was an engine fire they would probably suffer some damage.

I am interested to hear more info on this car!

Don't know the story, but a local owner is in contact with the owner of the car trying to purchase it

That could be the result of a garage fire. With a few hours of cleanup that stainless could look nice again. However, the picture doesn't illustrate what the remainder of the engine compartment looks like. As long as the wiring isn't melted and the interior isnt trashed, the car might have potential.

Me too. I have heard through second hand sources that the Insurance Company is trying to figure out what to do.
We have had a few ODOC members visit the site where it sits. I'd love to know the VIN.

Mystery solved. Car is that of an ODOC Member who was keeping the engine fire quiet. Is being fixed in the summer of 2015.
