I have seen one once before, there are a number of VW based kit cars which have gull wing doors such as the Silva Saluki.

Like so many of those kits you rarely see one that's actually finished which is a shame.

This ones looks pretty smart thought.

I saw this one for sale a few months ago for only $10k. Considering the color and build quality, and given the article stating only ~150 kits or so were produced its probably the same car. Edit - Found the vin, it is the same car.

Seems like the place selling it now is just trying to flip it for a few extra grand.

Agreed, I think Guigiaro only knew how to draw triangles, so he stuck with that theme.

This makes me think he this is what was on his mind when Porsche didn't go through with this:

"Someday! Someday, I'll have the chance to design another car outside of these walls, and when I do, WHEN I DO, I'll use THIS design!! Make a few little changes here and there so they think it's something new, and bim bam boom, a new car design is born!"
