Vin # stickers!

I have created vin number decals for our cars!. I saw a Mustang Saleen with a build number on the front bumper. I thought it would be great to do the same with my car. I have a listing on e-bay. Not sure how this will work so I'm testing the waters.3311133112 What do you think?

Personally, I always check the VIN (usually dash) when I approach a new/unknown DeLorean anyway, so you're saving me some squinting and perhaps getting "suspiciously close" to another owner's car!

Again this is me testing the market. I have some other ideas I'm going to bring forward when they are ready.

How easy are these to remove if needed? I'm assuming these would work well on glass as well? Thinking about the rear quarter panel glass. Hmmm..

It seems like a little heat from a hair dryer and they should come off if needed, that being said, the decals are meant to stay put. They are made of sign making vinyl designed for outdoor use. There should be no problem placing these on glass. I'll offer these in gray also so it shows up better in the quarter glass panels. I'm negotiating the cost and logistics of production with my graphics friend.

This project is to help raise funds to put back into my Delorean. I'm also thinking of creating a stainless brake booster closing plate for the trunk. It seems like there is one for everything else but not that one.

I have another project I have been working on but I am not ready to reveal that one yet. A prototype was made and it went back in for more machining. Stay tuned.

Truth be told, I'd like a bit of a custom order, but wasn't sure if that color was doable for you. If it is though, I'll even pay extra just for mine. Thinking of a certain URL in the left of my signature ( ;) ), in addition to the 12 license plate squares like this:

Thanks for the interest! I'll check with my graphics friend and find out the availability of colors and sizes. It should not be a problem except the cost of custom graphics. The only thing that is available now is numbers. I don't have letters in that font. I was really just going to do the vin # decals.

As far as the closing plate that is the exact one I was thinking about. I'm going to send a CADD drawing to a cutter and find out how much that costs.

The other project I am working on is a throttle spacer plate for the K-jet intake. It replaces the rubber flex seal with a machined aluminum replacement. I guess I should start getting the word out there just to get some interest going.
