Chicago White Sox - Back to the Future Night - Friday, May 8, 2015 - 7:10pm to 10:04pm (Fireworks after game)

Yes, I will say it ... the Chicago Cubs were "too chicken" to have a Back to the Future Night during the season in 2015,
so we were very happy when the Chicago White Sox asked our DMC club to come out to their Back to the Future Night
this Friday, May 8th, 2015, to help celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Back to the Future movie. See event details:

Unfortunately, we are expecting "The Storm" to dampen some BTTF activities planned for the evening, but if you do not
mind a little rain, feel free to come out to see some DeLoreans and watch a White Sox game, if we do not get rained out.

Hope the rain is gone by game time!

Got the Time Machine Replica Prop Car in the stadium by 10:04 am this morning.

Weather still holding out, for now. Humid and 80 degrees. Back home to shower,
then head back to ballpark with a few other DeLorean, to display outside the stadium.

Then, back in the stadium (by 7:04pm) before the first pitch about 7:10pm.

Update: Rained out Friday ... trying again, with a double-header Saturday.

Yes, we did get rained out on Friday night (as expected), since weather forecasts are extremely accurate in 2015.

More opportunities for photos, before the game, during the rain delay and after the game was postponed until Saturday,
which made the Saturday into a "double-back again" double header, with afternoon and evening games.

Just as a side note, to any DeLorean owners who are thinking about taking their vehicles to display at large public venues this year (and in the future).

I would highly recommend not using any pyro-technic enhancements near your DeLoreans or Time Machines before attending a large, public display.

For the Chicago White Sox game, I had two different bomb sniffing dogs "inspect" the DeLorean Time Machine Replica Prop Car, as well as the transport
vehicle while it was parked in the Loading Dock area. It's a sign of the times, I guess. Not sure if they were looking for the "missing plutonium" or not.

I'm sure Oliver and Terry had to "jump through a lot of hoops" to get their DeLorean Time Machine inspected, while on display in Washington, DC.
