I had a few of my meter test leads go bad. They showed a resistance of about 0.5 ohms. I bought two new sets of these:

I got them and they look just as good as the leads supplied with my Fluke meter. These also state good to 20 amps. I have not tested the high current yet. And these do have a very sharp point which I may file down do I don't poke myself.

If you are ever looking for a good set of back probes, that go on to a multimeter, CAT sells some really good ones. They are like a spoon. The downside is that they aren't cheap. I haven't found anyone else that makes them unfortunately.

CAT is a safety rating standard for test leads and meters. Your test leads should be marked with the CAT rating.
