Hey Guys,

A church in north FL would like to rent a DMC for one Sunday afternoon. Details are below:

Good afternoon!

My name is Bobby Jones and I'm a Service Programming Director for Beachside Community Church. We are doing a sermon series entitled "Time of Your Life" for five Sundays beginning on August 28, 2011. We're interested in renting a De Lorean to sit outside of our auditorium on one of those Sundays. We'd like it for the back drop for a "Back to the Future" photo booth for families as they are arriving and leaving. I saw that one owner was in Crestview, FL which is about 40 minutes from Fort Walton Beach.

I'd love more information about the rental process.

Thanks so much!

I am doing this event this Sunday the 18th. I met with management (clergy?) and they loved the car. Decided we'll leave the doors closed cause there will be like 100+ kids going by and I just don't want to baby sit that close. It'll be parked at the entrance to the church (school's gymnasium) at 0930. It's a youthful modern "rock'n'roll" church as I call them.

I'm doing this for a nominal fee, which I was contemplating even collecting. I always figure 'networking', never know who you will make as a contact. Especially when you are looking for professional employment as I am...

Well I did their little event this morning. Just parked outside the church (held at the local high school's gymnasium) at 0930. They had a lady with a camera taking pics of whoever wanted to get their picture taken as they came in for the service up to 1030. Then they ran to Walgreens and got them printed out and handed them out to the people after the service. Maybe 2 hours of my time, lot of people enjoyed it. Mainly the young and middle aged guys.

She took some shots of just the car and printed them out for me. Then I thought about it, those are the only physical pictures I have of my car, every picture I've taken of it in the last 3 years has been digital.

The band played Huey Lewis' "Back in Time" as an opener, and they were very good.

They played "Back in Time" for worship music? My church plays/sings gospel music.

Hey, I don't judge and just went with it. People can worship however they want to.

I just deleted most of my post cause I kinda went on a tangent about modern churches. I moderated myself.
