This is the Lakeland Florida, Lake Mirror Classic Automobile Festival scheduled for October. 16-18th, 2015

I'm going to be there "hopefully" on Saturday, Oct. 17th and wondering who else might be planning on being there too. Thanks and hope to see you there :driving1:

If we can get at least 10 cars registered, we can have our own display area. Get those registrations in before Sept. 1st and save $25!

Sadly, our cars don't qualify for the Concours, so they have to be at the "open" part of the show. There is a "Judges Choice" award that we could qualify for, but I believe there is only one of them and it can go to anyone in the "open" part of the show.

Lenny, if you can, register tonight because the fee jumps $25 tomorrow. If you decide to come, you will be car #5 (That i'm aware of).

Hey everyone, we are going to meet up at the SouthGate Plaza Parking Lot in Lakeland. Before we all go to the event... It's where they filmed Edward Scissorhands, we can take some photos, get ourselves in order and then head to the festival. That way, we all arrive at the same time. Anyways, that once we get more information on what time and everything else starts. Sounds like a Plan ^ ^

I got the Packet today too, 8 o'clock in the morning... However, I don't know if my DeLorean will be ready for the car show or not. But I'm still going to be there no matter what, with or with my vehicle.

It's really up to you guys, I think it'll be easier on us if we all arrive together and on time. What do you think?

I would say no later than 7:30, that should give us all plenty of time to meet up and head over in a group.

I still had been holding out for the possibility of a last minute trip up there to join y'all for Lake Mirror, but alas, it's not to be. Although the DeLorean is more than ready for a road trip, I'm not, as I've been given an extra 10 hour overtime shift at work all day that Saturday, and so will have to miss out on the show. Have fun, and when the inevitable "where can I get ME one of those COOL cars too?..." questions come up, don't forget to give them my contact info for VIN 1150, which is still available for sale ;-)

How far from the gate is this shopping center?

7:30am is a good time to meet at Southgate, its about a 10minute drive or less to get to the Event. Gives us plenty of time to get organized and take a few photos before heading out. ^ ^

I'll be there at 7:30. I'm leaving at 06:00 from Pinellas County near the beaches if anybody wants to "convoy" to Lakeland.

I just wanted to say thank you all for coming out to Lakeland. I hope you enjoy the Event, here are my photos of SouthGate and Lake Mirror. Maybe we can do this again Next Year, I'll post about it once I get more information. Again Thank You 8)
