Oktoberfest 2015 - Middle Tennessee Car Show

After 11 months of working on getting 3294 roadworthy again, I entered it into my very first car show last Sunday. Our local bank hosts a HUGE car show each year during their Oktoberfest celebration, and this year's show registered a whopping 473 entered vehicles on display. The car show takes place on the festival grounds of the bank, which is the site of the football field of a former Military Boarding School that closed up back in the late 80's. The entire campus of the Military Academy has been turned into offices and our City Hall occupies the historic main campus building. I entered my car in the Imports / Exotics Class, and came in 3rd place. Cars there ranged from Model T Fords, Mustangs and Camaros everywhere, and even a Ferrari up on top of the hill. I was very pleased with my 3rd place trophy.
