I got the model this past week and headed to the miniature railroad museum... after thinking about this for 8 years. Here's the video.

I hope to find someone with a miniature steam locomotive and then build the wood scaffolding with the tires in it to shoot more video. I was surprised that it fit perfectly on the 1" scale tracks without any modifications.

Why is the model gold? Pretty neat- if you live in LA they have a gathering of live steamers once in a while over at Griffith Park.
