Has anyone added a knock sensor to an original Delorean 2.85 engine for an EFI conversion?
If so, where would be the correct location to mount one and what would be a good part number to use.
I am wanting an input for my turbo build with megasquirt.
Thanks in advance,
Josh Q

you can use this module with the MSII http://www.viatrack.ca/

the later efi PRVs have 2 tapped holes in the valley for these sensors

the 2.5 turbo has the sensor bolted to the inlet manifold

Also, some of the 2.8lt even firing, had the knock sensor bolted down to the side of the block, in a threaded hole near the base, near the water side output, but is not aviable on the 2.8 odd-firing delorean.
I think on the original block and intake you need to be creative; maybe making a threaded hole in the side of the upper square air intake could be the best easy solution.
