81 5 speed gray interior, full time machine conversion for sale

Up for auction is a 1981, 5 speed manual Delorean Time Machine Replica. $70000
Anyone who knows these vehicles will instantly see the value in this car. The car has been restored and then converted into a time machine with a lot of attention to detail given to create as accurate a replica as possible.
Background:
I imported this vehicle to Australia approximately 7 years ago from the Chicago area. A full frame-off restoration was carried out prior to making the decision to convert the vehicle into a time machine replica 4 years ago; this included cleaning up the chassis and the repair of any rust spots. The engine was also partially stripped to allow the valley to be cleaned and treated. While the body of the car was separated from the chassis, all new parts were fitted (see listing below).
The car runs and drives well and sounds impressive. Wherever you happen to be, the Delorean draws in a lot of attention with peopling crowding around for photos. The car has been featured in many magazine and newspaper articles across South East Queensland, also attracting radio interviews, photo-shoots and different types of events.

The body and structure of the car is in excellent condition with the exception of three small dents (front wheel arches & passenger roof) and minor scratching on the rear fascia where vents touch.
