We have received a wedding request from a groom getting married in October:
I'm getting married in Amelia Island, FL on October 1st. My bride-to-be and I would love to be able to leave the reception in a DeLorean. We wouldn't have to go very far. Just down the road and out of sight. I was interested if this would at all be possible, and if so, how much it would cost.
If someone could point me in the direction to turn this dream into a reality, I would really appreciate it. I'm sure it is very rare for your members to rent out cars to be driven, and I understand this is pretty bold request. Especially because your members don't know me from Adam, and they would be trusting me with something that is extremely special, rare, and expensive. However, I would be willing to go through any necessary steps to make your member(s) more comfortable (obtain a daily insurance policy etc). Also, I would only be driving it maybe a 1/4 of a mile down a private (paved) road. I would not be taking the car out into traffic, and I would be the only car on the road at the time.
Again, I know it is a long shot. A very long shot, but I wanted to ask just in case there was a small possibility of it working out.
