I actually created www.DeLoreanDirectory.com (http://www.DeLoreanDirectory.com) a week before I bought my car (and I did not know I was buying my car!)

It is primarily an aggregator of all the great information that is out there.

If anyone has feedback, ideas, comments - please do post here, or in the Contact section on the site.

If you have links that should be added to the:

DeLorean cars and parts For Sale (http://www.deloreandirectory.com/DeLoreans/for-sale) section,
or the Recommended Products (http://www.deloreandirectory.com/resources/products/),
the list of Articles (http://www.deloreandirectory.com/resources/articles/),
VIN tracker (http://www.deloreandirectory.com/resources/vin-tracker/),
Videos (http://www.deloreandirectory.com/resources/videos/),
Parts & Service Centers (http://www.deloreandirectory.com/resources/parts-service/),
Books (http://www.deloreandirectory.com/resources/books/),
Clubs & Organizations (http://www.deloreandirectory.com/resources/clubs/),
or the Owner and Fan websites (http://www.deloreandirectory.com/delorean-websites/)

- please do let me know :)

Very cool site, looks professional!

Question: Your logo uses the tail light, why is the backup light yellow/amber rather than white?

Hey Dave -

Very cool indeed! Is there a mechanism for editing vehicle information once it has been posted? I hit "enter" too quickly the first time I put up info on 6631, and now there is a duplicate.

Very cool website, congratulation on the job done.
Like Burch said, is there a way to edit once we've entered some information about our car and location?

You should team up with http://www.citizenkidd.com/dmc/pages/dod.asp he has a huge database of VINs, car and owner info.

Great website on your part!

To add to your parts/resource section:

http://www.deloreanclub.uk/
Also DPI?

EDIT: I just saw the "additions form" form on the bottom of the page. :banghead:

If someone personally knows them, please do share my information - I'm happy to work with anyone. The DeLorean Directory is intended to just be an aggregator of information, showing the information in a clean, updated way.

I'll add a note to the page, but the easiest way is to just use contact form on the site to say that there's a duplicate or should be updated.

Thanks :)

How embarrassing :( Great catch!! I'll work on updating it :)

How are you keeping the "DeLoreans for sale" section updated? Seems like that would be a real pain if it were a manual process.

Would probably make sense to set up the For Sale section to have the listings expire after a certain amount of days.

How are you keeping the "DeLoreans for sale" section updated?

It takes about 10 seconds for each link...

There's a great plugin called "Link Library" that has a "Bookmarklet" tool that allows you to click a link in your bookmarks, and it grabs all the needed information from the page. Then I check a box for "For Sale" and hit save. Pretty easy.

Once in a while I'll check the links at the bottom of the list and if they are expired, I'll just change the category to 'old listings'.

I've been looking at a way to do that, but I haven't found a way yet... hopefully in the future :)

Along with the main DeLoreanDirectory.com site, there is a corresponding Facebook page where you'll get 'best of' shares, and the latest DeLoreans listed for sale - www.facebook.com/DeLoreanDirectory (http://www.facebook.com/DeLoreanDirectory)
