Ever wonder why the wire colors in the DMC wire schematic are what they are? Here is the British Guide (Automotive Standard) to color usage.

It's an interesting read with british terminology to translate

DeLorean deviations from that list:

Blower motor: Light Green for overall switch supply, Pink/Red for 2nd speed
Left hand flasher: Green/Red
Right hand flasher: Green/White
Wiper motor to switch: Blue/Light Green
Wiper motor to switch: Red/Light Green
Radio switched power: Light Green/White
Hazard switch feed: Purple
Tachometer generator to tachometer: White/Slate

The list has several omissions, most notably headlights, side/tail lights, and the entire charging system.

Yes, there are some deviations. But most (not all) of what you listed are there. I find it easier to look at a specific wire color on the schematic and its circuit. Then find the wire color on the LIST and compare them. Most correlate with some interpretation.

Remember British terminology.

Green/Red : Left-hand Flasher lamps
Green/White: Right-hand flasher lamps
Blue/light green: Screenwiper motor to switch ( windshield wiper motor)
Red/light green: Screenwiper motor to switch ( windshield wiper motor)
Purple: Accesories fused from battery: (This includes the hazzard feed).
White/Slate: Tachometer to ignition coil ( Tachometer generator)

Headlights, side lights, charging system are there.

For example: Headlights

Blue/Red: Dipper switch to headlamp dip beam (Low beam relay) Headlamp dip beam fuse (14) to to right-hand headlamp.

Blue/white: Dipper switch to headlamp main beam (High beam relay) headlamp Main beam fuse (15) to Right-hand headlamp. Headlamp main beam use to outboard headlamps. Dipper switch to main (HIGH) beam warning lamp.

Charging system:

Brown/yellow: Dynamo 'D' to control box'D' and ignition warning light. Alternator Neutral point.
Brown: Main battery feed. lots of brown wires in our schematic fit the application.

Side markers/ tail:

Red/black: Parking lamp switch to left-hand side lamp(s)
Red/orange: Parking lamp switch to right-hand side lamp(s)

Our radio feed is (LG/W) Light green/white: has no specified destination (OPEN)
The Blower motor does not match up either.
