I'm into scale models as most here know, but this was just beyond belief!

That is indeed unbelievable.

Do you know anything more about it? Is it a tourist location, or a model made for airport construction approval perhaps?

Incredible! the attention to detail is beyond belief, and probably took forever. I wonder if the same technology was used to move the vehicles around that the planes use.

If this is actually based on a real airport, I bet the landscapes painted on the walls are accurate too. I mean, they paid so much attention to everything to that point, why stop there?

Apparently it's part of a bigger thing?

wow, that is ridiculous. i wonder what scale the model is and how many man-hours it took to complete. i enjoyed that they used real LCD displays for the advertising boards.

Michael, Hamburg beckons you to pay this Miniaturwunderland museum a visit!

Trust me if I ever get anywhere remotely close to Hamburg, I'm there. Miniture Wonderland also has the worlds largest scale railroad among other displays. A person could spend all day there. Here is an article about it and another video(which shows it still under construction)

We considered going to Europe for a vacation this winter, but decided on a Carribbean cruise. We do however have all day at the Kennedy Space Center as part of the vacation.
