Right now a few of us are planning to have a lunch get together on Sunday, December 11th.

Currently the idea is to meet at Manchac, LA around 1pm for some great seafood and conversation.

As of right now Brian, Drew, Farrar, Fred, and myself will be attending. I don't know what else to say right now but everyone is welcome.

I spoke to Jim in LaPlace tonight and he's planning to go too. If 5 D's show up, the news media just might be there too.

Sweet. Do you know if any other guys are bringing their girlfriends/wives? I'm debating whether or not to ask a girl if she would like to go. It would be weird if she said yes and it ended up being 5 car guys and just her and your wife.

I would love to go but on Sunday I'll be up to my elbows in my daily driver's cooling system. Everyone have fun.

I plan on bringing my girlfriend. May drive the D to the event if I can fix the interior lights tomorrow (and get a brake tag).

Not driving stainless to lunch tomorrow. Fixed my courtesy lights (ditched the module, installed a switch) but still no brake tag.

When did your tag expire? For what its worth, my tags expired (on both cars) last month and I don't plan on getting new ones until the last week of this month. Rumor has it that you get a 30 day grace period after your tag expires.

I bought the car in 2007, and I lost the registration paper somewhere when I moved earlier this year, so I would be asking for serious trouble taking the car on the road at this point. :paranoid:

Chin up, Steve -- no pun intended... I managed to find a great girl who liked me over four years ago when I weighed 40-50 pounds more than I do now. Just make sure she sees your inner beauty. :-)

Now that most of their work is done, I borrowed some of Santa's elves. Their English is pretty bad, but they are eager to work.

Just grow a beard or goatee, that's what I did. Come to think of it that did not help with the ladies either but at least I didn't see my double chin anymore in photos ;)

I had a full, thick beard for a while. Was miserably hot in warm weather. Cut it back to the little beard I have now, which seems to work.
