Hi there,
I have here the original of the christmas gratuities John DeLorean offered to a couple of people back in 1979. As it is close to christmas i scanned the paper. Check out the attachment.
And BTW: Happy christmas

That's what it looks like to me.
Top right - $20 goes to Guards and ??
What is/was the 21 club?
And which was greater worth back then - Gucci Tie or $100 ?
Thanks for posting btw.

The 21 club

I used to live near this place in my NYC days and remember someone telling me that a hamburger would cost $300. I think the 21 represents the number of members it has. Now I'm wondering if JZD was a member.

Nah - it's upscale, but not THAT expensive.

Interesting. I believe in Haddad's book, he speaks about that very van in the garage. Someone took it out one night and crashed it into another car and DMC was sued.
Thank you very much for this list. This actually proves some innacuracies from an old LMC employee I spoke with who claimed that JZD was cranking out $100-$500 Christmas bonuses every year on Logan's dime, including $100 for the paperboy alone. Obviously here a mailman was worth about $10, so there's no way a paperboy was gonna fetch a C-note.

Disagree. I wouldn't doubt it one bit, especially for the paperboy.

Ha! I looked at the menu prices and your right. I avoided eating at that place for 10 years thinking it would demolish a few weeks pay.
Very cool, thanks for the share.
