DeLorean at .29 seconds.

:Now it says the video is removed. Well it was a monster truck DeLorean suspended in the air and it don't think it was the D Rex. Might have been computer generated, but looked real if it was.

Yeah, definitely scale model/cgi. Here is a still shot for those who don't want to watch the video.

Eh well, be it any smaller, it'd be good for a kid's remote control monster car.

I was contacted in May by a company based out of California to transport the D Rex
to the West Coast to film this commercial (with the D Rex being suspended in air, etc.)

Unfortunately, filming was the same week as the DMC Midwest Open House and I was
not able to take the extra time off work, to do the transport and get back in time.

As it turned out, it looks like they used plenty of the "views" of the D Rex to help create
some type of CGI DeLorean 4x4 that looked like the D Rex, except with different tires.

Oh well, such is Hollywood.

Sorry, I forgot to mention I received the referral from Tamir, who was contacted
first through the Rich W's DeLorean Projects website, for the D Rex request.

Tamir was contacted in April, then contacted me, so I could then contact them.

I sent a whole lot of detailed photos (which were requested) and they asked how
much the D Rex weighed, since they wanted it "supported by a crane" for the ad.

Too much to do (last minute) to arrange to get cross-country for the filming date.
Prep days and filming took place during the week of May 2 to May 6, 2011.

The actual name of the beer company was withheld until a contract was signed,
so I did not know the actual company (only the ad company) arranging the shoot.

Rich W.
