No it will not fit. The intake ports in the heads are higher up on the Eagle, so it's manifold will not work. If your looking for a drop-in EFI manifold for the DeLorean's 2.8 engine, you'll need a Z7U manifold from Europe.

Lots of good stuff over in the EFI section if you wish to learn more.

Somewhere in .org or .com there was a picture of someone who put the 3.0 intake on the 2.8 engine using spacers. Anyone know where that picture is? Or who did it? Or how much of a spacer was needed?

Call Josh at DPI in Ohio. I'm pretty sure he's done a few of these.

I was under the understanding that the 2.8 intake will fit 3.0 heads with spacers, but NOT the other way around.

And you will need injector ports in the spacers.

It kills the velocity into the cylinder though. 3.0 heads are as "proper" as a production prv became in the states. 2.8 runners are junk.

Jim you are right... it looks like the 2.8L intake on a 3.0L. I found a bunch of Word files I had created using content from pertinent topics on .com and it had the picture. Here is the picture that I remembered:

I'm not sure that this picture offers any value given the topic and what has been added since...none-the-less, here it is for posterity.

And someone ... pm me explaining how to add the picture in the post instead of as an attachment. If I use insert image or Attachments I get it as an attachment.
