I have an original radio from my 83 DeLorean. Last time I used it, some radio stations would have some static while others were fine, but I think it was just the antenna connections. As far as using the tape deck, I used it once about 12 years ago just to see if it worked and it did back then. If you are interested, please let me know. Not sure what a fair price on it would be.

OP looking for a Craig, which was only in the 81s. 82s and 83s came with the ASI radio. I have one of each, but am holding onto them unless someone makes me an offer I can't refuse.

There were two different Craig radios used, the later one with a clock integrated into the display, and the earlier one that just displayed the radio frequency - which are you after?

Is there a way to tell the difference without powering up the radio?

Was there any VIN cutoff, or was it just what came out of the box?

I'm not aware of a VIN cutoff but with 6575, mine originally had the Craig with the clock.

How much are you willing to offer for the radio you want?

Hi mole,

I have 2 Craig's in for service at the moment. One belongs to Craig/silberbullet but another that just might work if I have enough spare parts.

It will be refurbished and have an auxiliary input for 3.5mm cables like most modern cars.

If you have a dead one to trade me that's even better and knocks a few bucks off. If you're still interested when it's done ill pm you.

I just aquired an 81 parts car to finish some work to my 82. I know that the 81 has the stock radio in it. Its the one with the display built into the cassette deck flap. I am not sure as to its condition or opperation. 85% of the interior and electrical parts are in excellent condition so I would say it has a good chance of it working. If you're interested let me know I can check its operation on Sunday. If so PM me and I'll let you know.
