Gasket installation questions

Do the gaskets between the CAT and the exhaust manifold and the gaskets between the intake manifold and the W-pipe require any adhesive or Permatex sealant when applied?

I'm also curious about prepping the rubber o-rings for the Pipe of Agony, intake manifold, etc. Do they install dry or should I treat them with something before installing them?

Nothing on exhaust gaskets but grease up the O-ring on the pipe of agony. My W-pipe I installed thicker gaskets so I keep it dry on one side and have a permanent sealer on the other side. Since you need to take it apart every so often it's the way I do it. But the paper gasket may need sealer.

I install them dry. I never reuse the paper ones on the w->intake connection but I suppose if you needed to, a thin layer of RTV wouldn't hurt anything.

I'm needing to replace my CAT and about to dive into my first ever VOD cleaning too and wasn't wondering about gasket treatment as well.
