Definitely a creative idea and pretty well executed. But, I just have trouble with the 'hacking' the car up like that. Its his car, though....

I'd say that is anything but hacked. All indication was this was just for a music video shot, very temporary. The stuff is held on with duct tape and zip ties! Very creative lookalike to the time machine, I like it. This gets Jim's Thumbs up of Approval™ . :thumbup:

Actually the build has made so that we'd do no damage or motification of the car. The back piece is completely modular. We bought an old broken louvre & built on top of that, so we can attach & remove it with ease. The hoses are attached with zip ties.

That is AWESOME!!! And it's functional!? I think it's fantastic! The fact that it's returnable to stock configuration is a real bonus too!!!

Was it hard to find one in good condition?
"The one we use in the video is actually my homie's, and he was the one that had one first. There is a dealership in Chicago, a factory, where they completely refurbish DeLoreans. Actually, for the movie screening that we did for the tape, I went there to shoot the opening scene, so people are going to be able to see this factory with tons of DeLoreans in it. They show me a lot of love up there. They holdin’ me down, always making sure things are fixed and ready."
