Here we go!
Not a great picture - I took it with my phone, but it was a beautiful night so a cruise along the ocean side was in order.
I have a professional shoot coming up, so I'll have some better ones soon!
Cheers

Thanks Mike,
Believe it or not, i actually took that on my iphone!
Gonna get that printed and framed. Would be a good shot for a DeLorean calendar.
Blackie - I love the stance of your car!

It is the ol chop and swap the springs but it seems to drive ok, done like this in the late 80's

She looks great Blackie! :aniclap:
What suspension setup you got going there?

Hi Simon,
Well, my car had the chop and swap spring setup which was the way they used to do it in the 80's. I think they pulled all 4 springs out, cut either or both pairs then put the fronts in the rear and the rear in the front.
For shocks, i have 30 year old Bilstiens in the rear (soon to be replaced) and Pedders gas touring shocks up front, which i got recently to get me through until i do my overhaul.
I noticed in another thread that Tony from DMC Florida said that they are going to be selling front and rear coilovers, so i think i will hold out for them. Interesting to see what they will be priced like!

Ditto on the coilovers! Will see what the reviews are and price, then go from there. Either way, she looks great! :)

I'm not a shutterbug and I don't have a great camera, but I have always liked these pics I took right after the stripes went on.

These pictures were taken last year after our local car show in Oct. If you can see the street sign it says "Delorean Street". lol The Delorean belongs to my friend Ed.

No idea. This guy just took the pictures and did some editing on them. We're gonna do a more intensive photo shoot some time in the near future

Here is another favorite of mine. It shows the progress of the engine work I did.
Top left - as I found it on day one
Top right - after a quick clean (after purchasing)
Bottom L & R - after tear down, repaint and new components

Nice Jonathan.
How do we post full scale pictures and not thumbnails? Couldnt see anything about it in the FAQ.

These are the only decent ones I have as of right now. Since these pictures were taken, I've repainted all the gloss black areas in satin black and painted the top windshield trim and all 4 side vents.
Hoping to get some new pics soon if the rain ever stops.

My brother and his girlfriend 'stole' my car last year and gave it its very own photo shoot. They gave me a calendar of my own car. Pretty cool.

Here's one of my favs from the ODOC BBQ we had on the 16th and our little drive around the countryside. 13 DeLoreans in attendance, and a Bricklin and a DeTomaso Pantera too. It was pretty sweet to have that line-up of cars cruisin' down the street. Thanks a bunch to Grant Thomas as our most excellent photographer for the day :)

Sometimes this happens in Florida. Not a good time to get into the car.

That is 2 of my favorite cars together... I would own both if I had the finances... :notworthy:
But my XB would be "butchered" to become a max interceptor. Don't worry, I'd save one from certain death, not hack up an original XB GT...
