Caption was "when it simply has to be there yesterday"

Funny thing is the car actually kinda looks good in this color.

I believe most folks think the Delorean looks pretty good in any color if it's properly lowered

In the mid-80s, our pay-tv movie channel (First Choice/Superchannel) used to air short films as filler between features. Several of these fillers were short films made by Bryan Michael Stoller (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bryan_Michael_Stoller). They would often parody popular films or famous people.

I've been looking and couldn't find it on YouTube or general google searching, but he made a "Second Chance Express" BTTF parody commercial.

From what I remember, "Mr. McFly" owned a company and had problems with delivery.
One courier used a stationary bicycle.
The next ones ran out of gas..."after they hit the train"

Then a Doc Brown character came in for the package, and took it back in time.

The slogan was the same as the poster: Second Chance Express. When it has to be there...yesterday"

Just to derail the thread temporarily, here's some of his other short films from that era that HAVE made it to YouTube to get an idea of his work:

Perhaps that's because its the only other color you could buy the car in from the factory...

it should have colored rims... the silver doesnt look good with the yellow.

maybe red to match the logo?

Red rims are ugly, horribly ugly.

very true, Red looks much better without them. however, the silver rims on this thing arent working for me...

Kenny here is the resident authority on ugly red rims, so I'll trust his judgement.

The 24k D had brownish tinted rims. Were they plated too? Either way it was a shade that went better with the car. But I think choosing rim colors for this fictional delivery vehicle might be a little academic... :)

Pretty sure They had painted rims, but the Lug nuts were probably plated.

Least it looks better than the golden DeLorean in GTA San Andreas. There, it only looks like the sun is shining on it and giving it a faint yellow off its silver.
