Anyone buy parts from Rock Auto

Looking at a cold start valve for starters - They are better than half the price of the DMC store. My concern is that it's half the quality too.

Anybody had experience with buying from them? What were the quality of the parts, etc?

Don't always go for the best price.
Quality has it's price.

If you know the manufacturer of the wanted product, then you can look for the better price.

I've bought from them several times in the past. Never had a bad experience. Just look at the brand name of what you're buying. If you don't recognize the name, caveat emptor.

I bought injectors from there once and they were identical to the originals. Unfortunately Doogie tried to buy injectors from them last week and they said they were no longer carrying them.

Otherwise I definitely recommend RockAuto.

...oh, one more thing about RockAuto. If you buy a few things, note that they often ship from multiple locations (depending on where the items is stocked) and as a result the shipping costs can get to be a bit much, and in fact less competitive than buying an item locally (if it's available), like from Advanced Auto or Napa.

But yeah, other than that, a good source for car parts.

I went ahead and ordered a CSV from them. I didn't recognize the brand not that I would know anyway. I'll hope for the best and see what happens.
