View Full Version : Anyone seen "The Dish" ?

It's about the receiving station in Australia that received the TV signals frm the moon during the first lunar landing (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0205873/). It's a great movie and I highly recommend it.

I haven't seen it recently because I used to watch it on Netflix, but no longer have that. So I started looking around online and found out it's over $70 new on Amazon :wow: It's not a very well-known movie, so they must not have made very many copies. I saw you can download it on iTunes for $10, which is a fair price, but doesn't that restrict you to playing it in iTunes?

Any ideas here?

For some reason the poster for the movie makes me think of Steve's quest for female companionship (http://dmctalk.org/showthread.php?3304-Single-guy-in-search-of-female-companionship-for-DCS-2012). :hihi2:

Let us know what you think! If you like movies like October Sky or Apollo 13 (two of my other favorites), you'll definitely like the Dish too.

excellent, i thoroughly enjoyed both of those, so this one sounds like a winner!
