Starting a Carbureted DeLorean

For the morbidly curious, this is what it's like to start and drive a carbureted DeLorean (credit Farrar Hudkins -- he's the one with a nice video camera):

His choke mechanism needs a shot of PB. A little bit sticky, which is to be expected given the high humidity environment in which he lives -- nothing a quick tap on the accelerator pedal can't overcome.

How exactly could a carbureted car be faster than a fuel injected car? The only difference between the two is the method of fuel delivery; otherwise, the same amount of fuel is going into the car. Bottom line both carbureted and fuel injection cars want a ration of 14.7 units/air to 1 unit/fuel. If either the carbureted or fuel injection car's ration is greater than or less than this mixture it's not going to run as well. You cant just dump more fuel in and expect it to run better. Unless something else is changed, like the cams cylinder bore, exhaust, it's BS. (not to mention the difference in each systems ability to ionize gas)

Bill's car not only has a carb, it also has an engine swap. The engine he's using is quite different from the PRVs that were intended to go in cars, so it may have a different power output than stock.

It also doesn't have K-Jet bungs, as it was designed to run on natural gas, I believe.

Also, "which delorean is faster" is a video he posted, where one delorean is filming while another delorean is in front, and one of them accelerates. That's his definition of "faster".

He's not here to defend himself though, so I'll just state those facts.
