Delighted to find Dave's product existed. Ironically the original DMC white fade relay unit was present and worked in my car but as we all know its dimming feature is poor due to the limit of the design. The mod to my car to increase from two to three dome lights meant that the original dimming feature all but disappeared and the level of brightness across all three dropped further. Dave's unit (as shown on the first page of the instructions) allows the full voltage to the dome lights. Post installation I have three dome lights which fade seamlessly and appear as bright as the original setup when lit up. Even in a standard setup (i.e. twin dome lights) I can't recommend this product enough. The added functionality of 'Battery Saver', 'Parade' and 'Car Show' modes (covered in the excellent instructions above) again take this unit to another level. This is an amazing box of tricks and certain vendor's would do well to have this fitted to the cars they sell...

In summary :yesss:
Does what the original was supposed to do plus with extra functionality makes this a no brainer. Will be watching out for other products Dave produces in the future with great interest!

Agreed, this was an easy install and a huge upgrade. The different modes are very useful to have and I love having the dimming functionality back after converting to LEDs. Another great product from Dave.
