New guy to forum-I was having a little fun changing Dist. cap and while moving wiring harness to get cap in place a connector popped off.Its a black water tight connector with wire snap maybe for an injector or a sending unit. Can not figure out what it snaps on to.Any help?
thanks

Does it have 3 wires? If so its for the idle motor/regulator.

I bet it's the electrical connection for the ignition vacuum advance solenoid. It's located behind the fuel distributor.

Need picture. The vacuum solenoid would be a possibility, but that connector doesn't have a "wire snap" on it. The other 2-wire "snap" connectors are for the cold start valve (blue), CPR (grey), and the frequency valve (I thought was white).

It is also possible any one of those were replaced with a generic black unit at some point in the past.
