Want to ignore annoying users that post things you don't care for? Its easy, just click settings from the top right of your screen to access the user control panel:
1092

Then choose "Edit Ignore List" from the left:
1094

Finally add the name of the member you want to ignore then hit okay:
1093

Easy as that!

since i dont want to test this ignore feature on anyone, could you describe how the threads appear when there is an ignored post? e.g., does it say "post by an ignored user" or something to that effect?

Just so it is clear, this is not a permanent setting, you can always "unignore" a member.

As you read through a thread and you come upon an ignored poster's post there will be a place holder stating "This message is hidden because [ignored member's name] is on your ignore list." You will then have the ability to click a button to view that specific post if you like without taking the member off of your ignore list.

Does the person being ignored, know that he/she is on your "ignore" list ?
