Not my taste:facepalm: but you can't save every Delorean. A lot of work went into this project and he is still driving it (although not much).

Actually all his addons are metal. He's a wrought iron worker.

Wow! Impressive skill!

But I think he had overdone it on the Delorean though. A bit of an overkill. :(

I have to say, though I'm not really a fan of the car, I definitely respect his skill. He's certainly got a lot of impressive stuff done (like 5 lug wheels). Also at DCS 04 he talked about when he painted the car. I'm no expert on painting cars, but I do know that candy apple colors are among the most difficult to paint because of the silver base, metallic candy color, then excessive clearcoat on top. Though it's not my cup of tea, I think that (especially in person) his paint job is phenomenal. He definitely did his homework, prepwork, and followup to get that to turn out right.

The interior is another thing. Just because I'm not a fan doesn't mean I'm not impressed with his upholstery, his custom fully digital dash, his sound system, etc.

I will say that in all the times I've looked at his taillights, I have always disliked them. I just do not think that euro styling looks good at all on a DeLorean.

I wonder why he stopped using the "Vindicator" license plate

I'm glad it see it out and about. And I see he is still working on it based on the LED strips at the headlights. I'd actually like to see more about that.

I must say that this video gives the best representation of the car that I have seen. Perhaps it is the changing light in the paintwork, but like Nicholas says, I can appreciate the quality of that paint job. I even kinda like it. Wonder would it look better or worse without the add-ons.

Sound system, well sounds phenomenal

The most impressive piece of info on Curtis and his car is that Curtis did almost all of the work himself, including the paint job.
Whether you like what he did or not (or even if you do not like painted DeLoreans), most people appreciate the workmanship.

What is really impressive about the paint job is that Curtis said he had never painted a car before he attempted this task.
It took him a while to get it exactly the way he wanted the paint to turn out and you cannot argue with the DIY results.

As others have mentioned, the paint job is best viewed (and appreciated) in person, outside, in the bright sunlight.

My guess is that Curtis will have his car at DCS 2014, since it will be a relatively short drive (or transport) for him.

I don't think they reveal the 'next one' until the current one is underway, so as not to steal attendees.

Ooops.

It is correct that the location of the next show is known well before the current show. But its never announced to the public until the Friday night dinner.
