You'd think that an in-depth look at the history of DeLorean would be accurate. Yet another person that thinks that our cars have a motor that it doesn't, only this one is very specific:

That is an oddly specific error, considering the rest of the article is pretty accurate, apart from those European models.

The Fiat X1/9 experimental prototype did have a transverse Cologne V6 that was connected to a transmission via a chain.

Chance are however this reporter is just a dumbass and doesn't know any better.

Agreed, a simple google or wikipedia search would give you the correct info. Not to mention delorean.com maybe? Way to fact check!

It's almost as if they made that mistake on purpose.

I wonder if it could be something as simple as someone copying and pasting the wrong engine- from a list of engines.
