Last month a silk screening supply company contacted me about renting my D for an afternoon so they could use it in commercial. If you check out their YouTube channel, you'll see they make all kinds of videos and parodies. Basically they told me they wanted to make it the kind of campy TV commercial that would go viral, but not bother actually airing it on TV. Marty is played by the owner and the other characters are some of his employees.

Sort of. Toby at DMC-NW had a local wheel shop machine them and then apply a marine grade clear powder coat. I find it matches the stainless much better then a grey wheel.

chad has machined & clear coated rims on 1601 as well, i got to see them in person at DCS '12... i think the bare metal rims look really good with the bare stainless. :hihi2:
