Works best when you have a colleague with the car's remote standing next to you :)

heh, yeah... i wonder if this is like the fake 'tennis ball' unlocking trick. this seems a little more plausible, however.

You got to love the former soviet block countries. The people are so resourceful.

1:27¾ and you can see the cameraman holding the key fob in the reflection of the glass.

For obvious reasons all of this is fake. You can't pop the hatch of a car with an air bladder. Car hatches are mounted on the bottom with a looped latch, and SUVs use horizontal striker pins on each side. The Jeep Grand Cherokee used to use a single striker pin on the bottom of it's rear hatch, but after lawsuits when it was determined that in a high-speed crash the hatch could twist off the striker pin of the body of the vehicle was twisted enough, no one uses this design any more to prevent things like this.

I'd love to say that no one would ever fall for that plunger thing, but I know enough stupid people out there who would... As discussed in a thread somewhere on DMCTalk about people breaking into our cars, a big screwdriver proven, effective tool for gaining entry into a truck. Not to mention that it's less conspicuous since you're not some shifty dude lurking in the dark with a plunger and a tube of lube. Which reminds me of a dirty joke...

Which reminds me of a dirty joke...Now you have me wondering if your joke is "better" than the funniest response I've read so far-"Actually, the first method also works if you press your lips round the lock and blow really hard. And once you perfect the technique, you’ll find all sorts of doors will open for you."

I'll PM you. Maybe we can start a dirty joke thread next...

I can steal Richard Gere's car if I have a couple gerbils to work with.
