Is that the one that caught fire in a parade or something? I remember seeing three or four pics a few months ago. I can't find the post offhand...

edit:
maybe not. This is the one I was thinking of.

VIN 10458:
in 2007, at the time of the fire, it was owned by a Virginia pawn shop owner by the name of Robert Dolsey (http://hamptonroads.com/node/247681).

after the fire it sat on in the lot of his pawn shop for a while before it was sold for parts.

at some point it was shipped to the UK, and it came up for sale on ebay in january of 2011...

...then it was restored and converted to RHD by PJ Grady Europe, and may still be for sale (http://www.pjgrady.co.uk//GenericContent.aspx?PageType=Deloreans_For_Sale&ShowContent=VIN_10458.html).
(the description hasnt changed since september of 2011)

David, you're becoming a modern DeLorean Historian. (No rhyming intended) the community will owe you lots of thanks in the future when you're able to produce a decent history of a lot of different cars. Keep up the great work!

Thanks Guys!

I'm working on a D that lookes like it had fire damage repaired some time back in the same area(s), but the owner was unaware of any fires. I found the printed pic under a seat with the link on the bottom of the page. Just curious...

thank you, gents. im glad i could be of service! :)

it is pretty torched in the 2011 ebay photos, no doubt it was a daunting restoration.
