HI all,

I replaced my window motors awhile ago. I bought them from John Hervey. I wanted to know how long doe sit take for the window to go down and back up? Anyone ever time it?? Just want to know if mine are correct, or I have to do any adjustments or lubricate stuff.
Thank you!!

As my car has been sitting for a while, I had to raise and lower the driver's side a few times to get to go up and down properly. It didn't want to close all the way when I first got the car back and stopped about 1/2 inch from the upper sill. I probably had some junk in the track. The irony is that is a new motor I also got from John Hervey years ago. The passenger side is the 29 year old, OEM motor but hardly sees any use. That one works fine, amazingly. It just makes way more noise than the newer one. I should eventually change that one out too, but "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." (Esp. when you're semi-poor at the moment.)

My driver's side usually goes up and down in about 3-4 seconds.
