This is not my Delorean

Again, this is not my Delorean. I'm assisting an elderly gentleman sell his car. Feel free to PM me with questions and I can pass along any offers to the owner. If the offer is ridiculous, you won't get a response. I just bought the red Delorean http://dmctalk.org/showthread.php?5661-Red-Delorean-Vin-11408 so I do not have the room for another project.

The owner has had the Delorean since 1983, I believe it was originally titled in AR then to TN. The car sat outside for 4 years but is now stored in his garage. The frame is good but the stainless has some dings/dents as you'll see in the video and pictures.

The dent in the fender is the Right Front, there a ding on the right door, T-Panel and top of right rear quarter. The Left Front fender as well as the whole left hand side stainless is in good condition.

Currently not running. The car has sat for 4 years.

Hello. Do you have any other pics that show the front trunk area, as well as pics of the fuse and relay center, battery tray, etc.? Do you know why he parked it 4 years ago? Did it have a mechanical or electrical issue that was the reason for parking it?
It has alot of significant damage to the interior, and will require alot of work.

Do you know any history on what work has been performed, and maintenance, upgrades that were done through the years, if any?

How bad of shape is the engine in? Would this be a somewhat easy project car?

I think this would be a quick turn around but the fuel system would obviously need some work: clean tank, new pump, fuel filter, clean the injectors etc. Here's some additional pictures.

A buyer and the seller have agreed on a price, so this car is Tentatively Sold. In case you're wondering, no I didn't make a dime off the transaction (I'm starting to realize how Chris feels :wink:). The seller is an elderly gentleman and I'll just be glad to see the car go to someone that can get it back on the road. Selling Price will have to be disclosed by the buyer if he chooses to say.
