Photoshop.

Based on the 5 stud wheels and the lack of identifying taxi numbers, I would say FAKE.

Looks like a photoshop of the 25th anniversary of BTTF

Plus the poorly defined shadows and the horrible masking job along the back window and especially just below the sign on top of the car.

Photoshop. What the others mentioned above, and look at the car's interior....

Looks like a scalemodel, photoshopped over an existing car and adjusted like a taxi ...

No, it's completely legit. It picked me up at Laguardia a few days back.

Here is a link to a website with additional photos http://michaeljlubrano.com/index.php?/advertising/nooka-delorean-taxi/ Although the headlights in the last one look like those from the SunStar model, at least to my eyes they do !

No way! Someone photoshopped those headlights!

Edit: yeah, there's no way I can BS around those headlights.

Whether one actually exists or not is a separate question. (It doesn't. It's a concept.) The question here is whether these photos are real, and they are not.

Aside from the hundreds of minor details wrong in photo 2 on the website (with the woman getting into the car), just look at the tires. They're the same tire images from the first photo, except skewed to the angle of the car in the second photo so they look about an inch wide. Also in the 4th photo, the angle is so bad it looks like the car is backed up onto ramps (yet the roof lamp stays level) and the uniform yellow masking is horrendously bad.

Anyone who thinks this is real: find another picture of it. If this actually existed it would be all over the Internet.

I don't know about your guys, but my DeLorean doesn't sit with the rear end 3 feet in the air.

That's some bad Photoshopping.

It doesn't?! Shit. I gotta check that.

I like that the taxi number is different on the front from the back.

Good job!

Those are Crown Vic police/taxi package wheels. The logos/text look obviously photoshopped.

Or the headlights.....

Good call. Also a nod to Kerichbe on the Sunstar connection.

I thought those "headlights" looked familiar....

And not because they look like that on full-size DeLoreans.

Sunstar DMC-12 scale model:
15439

"DeLorean" Taxi:
15438

It's the 1:24th scale Welly model.

Would've been smarter to use the 1:15 scale model... Or borrow someone's D
