Claudia Wells also stopped by the shop to pose for photos.
While in town for the Dallas Sci-Fi show, my wife and I took her and some friends out to dinner and she spent
the next day with us shopping around Dallas.
My wife gave her those boots!
What a great girl!!

We will be doing a photo / video shoot with this car shortly, I will post more photos soon!
We did some really cool things on this car especially the way we did the rear window treatment.
Thanks!!

Awesome....Almost as good as your #9...j/k

On a side note, I know you went to go see Christopher Lloyd and had him sign the visor and some other items. I would like to have my visor signed by him and found this website. http://www.fanmail.biz/15582.html Any idea if this is true?

Great photos of Claudia. I see some of CEI props are adding a nice touch to another one of your cars. I'm not a fan of the white flux bands. I have watched the trilogy over and over many times and I have yet to see in any scene where the flux bands were seen in anything other than blue but, to each their own. Your crew did a nice job on this car.

Coulombe Enterprises is having our 5th Delorean this year delivered into our Iron Celebrities Shop. I will be posting photos of the car's delivery on our Delorean Time Machines Face Book page and here around the first week in March 2013 and number 6th by April. Beside our props being used in BPS number 11 build. We have something else in common with BPS. Our 6th Delorean that will be transformed into one of our iconic Time Machines, when finished this year will also be our 11th build to date. So, "Congrats" to both the teams of BPS and CEI for giving a second life to Deloreans that otherwise would possibly be sitting still rotting away.

Keep up the nice work BPS and good luck on reaching number 12 in the future!

Ooops!! I see I made a mistake in numbering the order of our Deloreans in the photo I posted on this thread in my last posting. Here is the corrected Photo of me (Bruce Coulombe) standing proudly next to four Deloreans Parked in our Iron Celebraties Garage located in Oviedo Florida. By the way, anyone wanting to stop by the shop and say hello, just drop me an email with the date and time you would like to do so and I'd be happy to welcome you aboard. GTG :rock_on:

What color flux bands does the restored A-car have? Or was the lighting for the fluxbands CGI?

All lighting effects were CG if I'm not mistaken.

The flux band lighting effects in Part I were both practical and CGI. The car had glass neon tubes fitted behind the mesh flux bands that lit up and ILM enhanced the glow when doing the other time travel effects. This is a photo from the making of documentary that shows the bands lit up.

The neon was removed from the A car after filming when it was on display at USH. The reasoning behind removing the neon isn't completely confirmed, but the current belief is that someone was shocked by the high voltage.

Screen accurate neon has been done before by the restoration team but universal requested no neon for safety and durability reasons. On the TMR facebook page there is more explanation if you are interested.

For Part II and III the glow from the flux bands is CGI.

Nice photo! I have to say they look white to me. I suppose it depends whether you want to replicate the actual flux bands or the CGI flux bands. I know in the time travel scene there seems to be a blue hue but I suppose it depends what you want to attribute that light from. (whether it be the flux bands, wormhole, etc.)

I have to say, I was impressed with the BPS car that had actual neon tubing. Personally I'd be scared to drive it given how fragile neon can be, but it's still pretty cool that it was successfully replicated.

Did they put the neon flux bands on the restored A-Car? I cant seem to find any photos of the restored car lit up. I would assume though that given the level of restoration they would have. Especially since the car was restored to the condition of the first movie, pre-mr. fusion.

Universal made the call not to put neon on the restored A car...I wasn't involved in the conversation as to exactly why but I would assume for long term durability. Each tube is custom bent to fit so if it were to ever burn out it would be a project to open up the display and replace.

If durability is a problem I would use frosted perspex tube with lots of runs of white electroluminescent wire in it; very durable, easily bent with heat gun, would look very similar to neon and individual EL strands failing would not be noticable.

Or just use some of this (http://www.ledneonflex.com/). It's been around for a few years now.

I think the LED non flex was considered... It doesn't look quite right when not turned on though..the diameter is too large so it sticks out like a sore thumb.

Frosted tube with multiple strands of EL wire sounds like it would be worth investigating. Getting enough brightness to match the look of neon is also a challenge.
