In the mid 90s, D owners were finally able to network and communicate through the DML. Times have sure changed for the better. If Farrar wanted to discuss his starter circuit modification, he might have consulted this hand typed diagram from Chase Clark (3rd message down):

It must have taken some time to type that out just right! If you notice on the list, you see a lot of .edu accounts: many people only had access through their local colleges, like I did. Reading discussions about a car I hoped one day to own made time between-classes a lot more fun. I'd like to see some old messages I may have written, but I have no idea what handle/email address I used at the time. A lot of people have aged out since then...

Searching this thing before 1999 doesn't look possible through the yahoo dml site, except through google, and then advancing up and down the pages. I wonder if this could be packaged in a searchable document?

EDIT: Nevermind, found the back issue homepage http://www.dmcnews.com/backissues.html

Still would be nice if it were more searchable.
