Hey everyone,

I'm looking at shipping my DeLorean again but I'm trying to find a more reasonable rate then what I paid last time. Can anyone recommend a reliable shipper excluding Hansen's and Livingston?

Steven,

Unfortunately when it comes to shipping and moving you get what you pay for!

I've heard countless horror stories from people that have shipped cheap by train only to find damage and missing parts upon arrival.

I went with passport. Thy aren't cheap but you know your car is treated as it should be. I think it's false economy to ship cheap and pay later for broken or missing parts.

Just my 2 cents!

It will be great to have you back in BC.

Also, why not drive it?

You really do get what you pay for. Josh will be through with 4915 in a couple of weeks and I've already made arrangements to get her home. I'm using Fleet Express which is the same company that delivered her to DPI in July. It's a thousand miles and they charged $1020.00 to take her up and it'll be $1150.00 to get her home ... inflation? It's an enclosed trailer vs. an open trailer for around $500.

I have options from door pickup in Thunder Bay (Where the car is located) to Vancouver terminal. Or I can go terminal to terminal from Winnipeg to Vancouver.
