Thanks, but when I do my viewer only shows 1 frame, not a "moving" gif. Is it possibly the viewer?

Probably. I open it in IE or a browser and it animates correctly. Try an open-with (assuming you're running a Windows PC?)

Yes, it's a PC. In Windows Photo viewer I only see one frame. In Windows Live Photo Gallery it opens with the first frame but lets me manually click through all 44 frames.

Yea - you'll either have to mess w/ the viewer settings or just open it in a browser. If you're embedding it in your email signature and your email format is HTML, it will animate.

For what it's worth, I had the same problem with the GIF's not animating in any of the built-in viewers. Internet Explorer/Firefox/Chrome/Opera/etc. were too heavy on resources to make it worth opening it for one image, and would take way too long to load up. I found a program called XnView (http://www.xnview.com/en/index.php), and it works like a charm! It's very lightweight, opens all image types (static or animated), and correctly animates both GIF and even the more obscure APNG. To use it as the default viewer for GIF images after you've installed it, open XnView, go to [[ Tools > Options... ]], then click "Associations" under "System integration". Click "View as Extension", then scroll down to the applicable extension (in this case "gif"), check it, then click "OK". From that point forward, it'll open with XnView by default. To reverse it, go to the same spot and uncheck it.

Hope this helps!
