As some may know I have acquired the Mystery yellow Delorean from Matt (uhhair) in PA. This car is the donor frame, suspension, and motor for 774. I have everything so its time to clean up shop. I will try to upload pictures tonight.

Just finished scooping out the VOD in the new motor. It spins nicely by hand, About 70,000 miles and a hell of a lot better than 420,000 from the original motor.

Here's a few items i found just now.

Overland, The interior of the mystery D was completely stripped.

As for the Vin on that car, the owner of the garage did not disclose it to Matt when he purchased it and theres no trace of it anywhere. However while reaching elbow deep into the nose of the body I pulled out some debris and among it was a pink paper tag which reads:

Im wondering if 100536 is the possible VIN?

100536 is too many digits for a VIN. It is however the part # for the headlamp harness. Most likely this is a label from that

No VIN plates? Any sharpie on the rear frame member? Doors with cave paintings?

I might be interested in the all of the brake calipers. What kind of shape are they in? Anything major or just dirty?
