As we are doing Public Service Announcements today:

Be aware of "The Hangover 3" it is currently advertised on TV as "Funniest movie of the year". The whole movie is setup to defraud people. They made an awful movie and then try to sell it to people who are wanting an enjoyable piece of light-hearted entertainment project. Often the actors they use are not good or have been ruined in their attempt to make the movie presentable for sale.

My family and I sat through this abomination of a movie. It isn't even slightly funny, has no plot (duh), the weakest links to the previous two. The giraffe scene is terrible, and not in a good way,

I saw the first one and missed the second one, and stupidly didn't read any of the reviews of #3 before going. Take your ticket price $, walk into your bathroom, and just flush those bills down the toilet. If any part of that activity makes you smile you will have gotten more enjoyment that you would have watching this POS.

Unquestionably the worst movie I have seen this year. And last year.

P.S. My wife isn't allowed to pick movies any more.

Funny this thread popped up. My wife and I saw the trailers for 3 and we loved the first one, so we rented part 2 on redbox and it did not impress. It was pretty much the same story retold with less jokes and more raunchiness. So we dismissed 3 altogether.

Hahaha!! I clicked on this thread thinking it was my wrecked DeLorean thread and I was trying to figure out what the heck we got onto the topic of movies.

:D

Thank you for the warning. I will avoid.

I saw the first one free and I never cared for it, I never watched the second movie and wasn't planning to give my time to the third movie. Don't even get me started on the last 2 Star Trek movies..lol

The funniest moment for me was at the gas station when Zack G. was filling the Mercedes up and the admirer walks up. My friend leaned over and said that's you with your DeLorean.

I quite enjoyed the first one, and the trailers for III make it seem quite good, much like that ad for the Nissan Juke.

But it isn't. It's so bad, it makes Adam Sandler's movies look good.

If any part of that activity makes you smile you will have gotten more enjoyment that you would have watching this POS.Oh c'mon, where's the fun in that? Fill a bowl with 70% rubbing alcohol and a bit of salt, stir, douse the bills in it, then light it on fire. Not only will you get to see the money burn, but it will survive the fire completely intact, ready to be done again and again! Much more entertaining than flushing it down a toilet, particularly if it's someone else's money you're doing it to.

(The 30% water protects the paper while the alcohol burns, which does so quicker than the water evaporates)

The fist Hangover movie was pretty funny. Hangover II was probably the worst movied I've ever seen. (I haven't seen Hangover III yet, and probably won't based on how bad II was).

H2 was pretty bad but Master of Disguise still takes it for THE worst movie I've ever seen.

Honestly - you guys have no idea what constitutes a truly 'bad' movie!

Try watching the entire 'Roller Blade' series, back to back:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0098216/
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0102804/
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0107954/
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0104702/

You'll be nominating 'The Hangover Part 3' for an Oscar when you're done - guaranteed!

Not saying it is the worst movie ever made. Just that it is a very bad summer blockbuster sequel that you should avoid.

The phrase "summer blockbuster sequel" should be enough to tip anyone off, actually. :angry_whip:

Side bar - I see on IMDB that RollerBlade 6 had a budget of $1.2M and H3 had a budget of $103M

I know you weren't saying it was the worst movie ever made, and I'm sure that The Hangover Part 3 is indeed not very good (I admittedly haven't seen it yet and won't be spending any money on it at the box-office). While 'summer blockbuster sequels' are rarely better than their original counterparts, there are exceptions to that rule - Young Guns II (1990) for example.

Only 5 'Roller Blade' films were made in the series by Donald G. Jackson that I'm personally aware of, and believe me, that's 5 too many - yet alone having to deal with a Part 6 in the series! And yes, there is a HUGE budget disparity between the two, but it doesn't take a whole lot of money to make a decent and entertaining film. Many exceptional films have been made on a shoe-string or virtually no budget at all. The Dana Carvey driven 'The Master of Disguise' (2002), referenced above as "THE worst movie I've seen" had a budget of $16M and wasn't really all that bad, but was also nothing special. I'm guessing that Accipiter hasn't seen that many films if that's honestly the worst that he has ever seen.

Here's some clips from the Roller Blade series:

When I was in college, we sent one of our roomates out to rent a movie.

He came back with "Battlefield Earth".

'Nuff said.
