I am about to put up my garage / mini delorean museum, would be great to have an original dealership sign. I found one but its in rough shape. So many questions, how much is an original worth these days? How do I prove originality? What would it cost to restore (not sure if I would, just curious, might have more character with patina)? Anyone know of any for sale right now that I might not know about?
Thanks!

PM Dave at DMCMW. They have smaller garage friendly signs designed just for your situation. They are not original, but they look just as nice.

I am so mad at myself, at first look at the pictures I wondered, what is that 't' shaped piece beneath the sign, and then it hit me. It was a very 'duh' moment.

Thanks for the pics!

It is so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up.

How much for one of those signs? I really really like it, and am interested!

I've been talking with the seller, my only issue is the cost of getting it transported to me. UPS wanted over 3grand. Anyone have any cheaper ideas? If I could get the thing transported for a few hundred I would be down, but I think that might be impossible.

Pay an unemployed DMCTalk member to drive to UT pick up the sign and deliver it to your house.

Let the bidding begin! Anyone here in the Utah area or somewhere on the way willing to bring the sign to me in VA? If so for how much?

I talked with the guy about this sign, cause I was living in SLC for the winter. just make sure you go through ebay and use paypal. He would agree to a price and then the next time I talked to him it would change, same with the amount of time that I had to pick it up by. He literally changed the deal everytime I messaged him, I told him that I was no longer going to deal with him after he said I had a month to get it picked up and I could buy it for $1200. changed it to had to have $1600.00 with a $600 non refundable deposit, and has to be gone within a week, if the truck was late he kept the sign and the money. quit dealing with him after that.

Yipes! Thanks for the heads up, that sounds kinda fishy :( I would have walked away from the deal as well if that happened to me.
