About 6 or 7 months ago, I saw that a new book about the DeLorean story was about to come.
So, I ordered one book and sent the money to the editor.
The book was planned to be released on May 2013.
Unfortunately, since two weeks, the editor doesn't answer to my e-mail.
I was hoping, at least an answer about a delay, but nothing...
Does anyone else has ordered the book?
He told me, two weeks ago, that several number was already ordered.
Furthermore, even the facebook page disappear...
Am I scare for nothing or am I realistic and I lost my $30 :umm:

I saw something somewhere, where he was selling stickers for $x each to raise funds for publishing it. But I didn't buy one.

I bought that sticker too.
Nevertheless, I receive it, so that's no problem.
On the other hand, since he doesn't answer to my e-mail since 2 weeks, I'm a little scared...
That's why I asked if someone has ordered the book here, as he said to me several numbers were already sold.
I just hope it's not a lie.

Just a quick update.
Finally received an answer which is:
Due to circumstances beyond my control, the release of this book has been pushed back to the fall. We are still working out an approximate release date for that time. If you had placed a pre-order for a signed copy, it will still be honored at the time of publication. As more info on the release date becomes available, it will be posted on the Facebook page for this book. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you, but unfortunately these things can happen in the book business from time to time.

A quick google shows that he has a couple of other books written, so he seems like a real author, though

The book should be available just before Christmas, so it will be a nice gift :thumbup:

Yes it will be this year :)
He encounters many trouble while writing his book, that's why there is some delay.
